It's an old Burger Chef that is mainly a breakfast place, but still has the old Burger Chef menu boards. Something close to the chicken club sandwich seems to be available. There's also a double decker burger on the menu that I suspect may be a Big Shef clone. It's on my list to visit the next time I have a few days to spend on the road. I suspect it may be the closest thing to Burger Chef now that Schroeder's is gone. Sort of l...This was kind of heart breaking to read. Sort of like finding out Santa Claus doesn't exist. When I was young, Red Barn chicken was the only fast food I would eat. But at least I got to eat there in their heyday and I still have the recipe for the fried chicken. As they say, all you get to keep are the memories, you got to make the good ones last.
